Healthy Matcha Pancakes!

Here are some delicious and healthy Matcha Pancakes! The recipe was adapted from @healthyhappyandhungry on Instagram. Check out her great feed!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Spelt Flour

  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 tsp Matcha Powder

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 1/2 Almond Milk

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions:

Mix all the dry ingredients. Then mix the Vanilla and the milk together. Add the Vanilla/Milk to the dry ingredients, combine well!

Mine took quite awhile to cook because I only made four very thick pancakes out of them. You might want to try making thinner pancakes by flattening them out in the pan. Flip them when they start to form bubbles on the top.

Toppings:

I used - a bit of maple syrup, hemp hearts, cacao nibs and bananas!

Obviously a lot of different toppings would be good! Next time I make them I am going to try my chia seed jam on them!
